I believe people who breaks an unjust law is right to do so if its for the right cause. Even though you break the real law your doing it for a right cause. " I will rather stand behind bars then to sit and watch and watch something that's wrong" by Henry David Thoreau. I think to stand up for the right thing is the best thing to do. I don't think it should be a price to pay if your doing the right thing. But it is the right to follow your leader rules by any means. If the community think its the best thing for them and the people around them I don't think there should be any punishment.
In your response to the previous blog number 4 I agree. People who do break unjust laws shouldn't be punished. In my response I also responded in a way with that similar response. I agree in when you stated the quote, " I will rather stand behind bars then sit and watch something that's wrong." If they were to receive punishment what type of punishment you believe that would have?
i completly agree, why should someone be thrown in jail for an unjust law. But the quote you mentioned is pretty cool an it makes complete since id rather be behind bars then watch everything fall apart. I can relate to your response because it makes since like myn. But we dont relate when we both say diffirent answers to the question. how could you make this more explainable? What could change you mind about this?
I think it depends on what type of law they break. Like if its a law such as "No one may carry an ice cream cone in their back pocket if it is Sunday". I don't think that if someone breaks that law they deserve to be punish. But if there a law that says, "No one is the steal". That's different and is willing to to pay for something that wrong. But a a good punishment would probably be jail time or probation and even a fine.
I agree with your blog when you said it depends on what the law is and how it should be treated. I also agree when you said you can break a law if its a good reason. We have similar responses by when we both said it depends on what the law is and how it should be treated. We both think that a good you have to pay for your decisions.
Do you really think jail is the best thing?
How will locking someone up be the best punishment?
I agree with what you are saying supped law shod not be laws and shod be thing to take sires and not put in jall for them.If some one ever brake the law that is a real law thay need to be in jall. Even what i say it what thay get if thay kill someone. But if is a stuped law it get no punishment.I wood try some defrend law that shod get taken out of the law book?
In a personal opinion I believe its a right thing. People who breaks unjust laws is doing the right thing in my opinion. It also depends on the situation like Antigone. I wouldn't believe punishing her is the correct road to go down. She's doing the right thing and killing her is not the right thing. But I believe it depends on the current situation.
I Totally agree with you bro!, sometimes the law needs to be broken so it can be fix. In my own blog i said if martin luther king didnt break the segration law it wouldnt be the same.
Also i like when you say it depends on the the situation because you cant just go around breaking laws. In My own blog I Also said it depends on what type of law it is. So what type of law would you want to break ? Also why would you break it ?
In my opinion, I think it depends on the situation and the type of law. The consequences can vary from person to person. Most of the unjust laws are laws that were opinions of important people such as king and queens or presidents and mayors. "All citizens must own a rake." Is a crazy law that no one should be punished for. But if the laws states that a person shall not drive without a licenses .Then yes you should do the time because you committed the crime.
i completely agree it makes complete sense, all facts
I completely agree. I mean some people get arrested because of something stupid like no eating in this area or no walking over there like thats not worth getting arrested for. But if you did something like commit murder then you should be arrested for that.
I think if a person breaks an unjust law they shouldn't have to pay for it. because they are doing it for rights. because it is better to be right then happy.
I see where your coming from when you say it's there rights. However I disagree with you on that. I believe that depends on Why your breaking it and why it's unjust.
1) Why shouldn't they have to pay for the crime?
2) What do you mean by they re doing it for rights?
I believe that it depends on what you look at unjust as. For instance if you look at a law as unjust because it violates your religion or personal beliefs then I don't believe you should have to face punishments. Anything that violates a reasonable belief should be respected. On the other hand if your breaking it just because you think it's dumb, then you should face the full punishment. Sometimes people break rules because they are trying to impress someone or just make a point. So in my conclusion, I believe this decision depends.
i completely agree with your response i just related to a little bit on what you are saying.
It depends on what type of law you are try to unjust. Plus most of the laws are peoples opinion. Like you cant live on a boat more than 30 day during a calendar year. A person should go to jail for living on a boat if there not doing anything wrong.
i completely agree with you. if someone isn't doing anything wrong, they shouldn't be arrested. but if it was something as big as a murder they should be arrested.
i completely agree with you. if someone isn't doing anything wrong, they shouldn't be arrested. Like is said in my blog, "some laws are just unreasonable, meaning that some laws are just laws to take up space". that relates to your blog when you said that if they aren't doing anything wrong they should be arrested. for example, if their car is too low to the ground and if it not bothering no one, they should be given a ticket or arrested for something that small. but 2 questions i have are, why do you think that no one can live on a boat more than 30 days? and whats your opinion on a unjust law?
Is depend what the law is that thay are braking. If merder some one thay shod be put to death . If put to death thay are taking some one else life. If it was a unjustly law thay she get a punishment something small like a jall sentens.Whatim saying yes thay shoud pay even brake a law.
it all depends on the unjust law that is being broken. some laws are just unreasonable, meaning that some laws are just laws to take up space, like you cant have your car too low to the ground. you shouldnt have to be arrested or get a ticket for something that small.
i agree when u say that the punishment to expect relies on the law broken. Laws big and small have different consequences. i stated in mine that same fact. Although i didn't state anything about laws being there just to take up space. Why do u feel as if they are just there to take up space? Also, what do u feel is the total opposite from these examples u have provided?
if its willing to carry to bring worthiness to their kingdom unjust law abiding only one sought out break it ,so this is kind of ironic she/he is willing give up their life for what they think is good ,so what do you think is unwilling the person who's doing the good or the wrong
It depends on what unjust law they have broken. If its something simple let them go and dont make a big deal about it or have them go to court and pay a fine. Im not quite sure on what an unjust law really is i dont really comprehend what they told me. I think they should be sent to jail for a certain amount of time but not too long a feel.
It depends on what unjust law they have broken. If its something simple let them go and dont make a big deal about it r make them go court, Every person have the right to say what they want n how they fee but its a point n time for that. but you have alot of people broken the laws even the polices broken the law to
i agree with you completely. If someone breaks a simple law they should just get off with a warning or something. Some laws are pointless and arent worth a punishment. If someone breaks a major law then they should be punished. Why do you feel this way? What type of laws do you feel arent worth a punishment?
I feel that if you decide to break an unjust law you should be prepare for the consequence. Some laws maybe be more important than other so punishments may very. If you think that the law is unjust enough then you would be ready for any punishment that follows. Most people dont take in to account that just because you feel that the law is unjust doesn't mean you breaking it is gonna change anything. People that go in with mindsets normally turn out being the ones unprepared for consequence. I feel as if when you are going against the law you should be prepared for anything. Because if u didn't know law reinforces can be unjust as well.
It depends on the law the people break because some laws are pointless and you do not need to be sentenced for a stupid law. But if it is something serious then i believe there should be justice.
I think the person should be willing to pay with their life or risk imprisonment, depending on the weight of the law. It is our right to go against or disobey unjust laws. We are only bound by just laws to maintain order. It is our responsibility and right to overturn a corrupt government because we are the government and any laws they make they also are subjects to their laws.
I disagree , If a person feels a law made by the government is unjust they shouldn't have to face harsh consequences for it. Everyone's entitled to have their own opinion of whats right and wrong.
