they should pay price of sentence to jail for 1 year sentence. it is not right to break a law.
I don't agree with your statement, because some laws aren't needed or uncalled for. So having "justice'' is not always needed in certain scenarios. Although your statement i could somewhat get what your coming from. But i just don't agree. You just need to add more detail and explain better.
some laws are meant to be broken not all are right
Some laws are meant to be broken not all or right. Not all laws are right some laws should not be a law. Or you could brake a law that you shouldn't have broke like killing someone or stealing laws like that there should be a consequence when are broken. But there are also laws are that is not so bad and you usually receive a fine or a warning when committed. Laws like this people do all the time like littering or speeding. There are different type of laws and and laws are needed for the society and the country without laws country's might not function as well as they do. People would be thinking they can do whatever they want which is a bad thing. Countries would be having mini civil wars.
i do not agree i believe no law should be broken. In don't understand why people think breaking laws are cool. When its not you only break laws when you with people you wouldnt break it by yourself.
I do not think that every broken law should just send someone to jail for a year. A blanket punishment like that isn't a good thing, different crimes should have different punishments. I do believe though that people should be punished for a crime. there should always be a punishment for breaking the law, its how we keep order. Would you be fine with going to jail for a year for jay walking or some other unrealistic crime? Why do you, personally feel its not right to break a law?
I agree I think every time you break a law you should not receive jail time. Every law or crime is different and it varies on what you have done. Simple crimes like littering or speeding you usually receive a fine or just court. But other harsh crimes such as armed robbery, or murder you usually receive jail or prison time. Which I agree with depends or the circumstances.
I agree with you. People should absolutely be punished based on the level of the crime. It would be outrageous to be assigned life in prison for something as small as littering. I think having to pay a ticket from a range of $50-150 is reasonable enough for this scenario because after all, the environment is of importance too. Have you, a family member, or a someone you know have ever been punished for some sort of unjust law? If so, what price did they have to pay?
I see where you are coming from but i dont agree of what you are saying. If its unjust its unjust a person has a right to stand up for what they yhink, its called freedom of speech. I know it is not right to break a law but if its wrong its wrong. what if it is unjust?
It depends on the law the people break because some laws are pointless and you do not need to be sentenced for a stupid law. But if it is something serious then i believe there should be justice.
****** It depends on the law the people break because some laws are pointless and you do not need to be sentenced for a stupid law. But if it is something serious then i believe there should be justice. Although some laws should not being broken. Especially a serious crime because those are what really needs justice. It is all about the purpose of what crime has been done.
I feel the exact same way about this situation and i also feel that you shouldn't be punished for foolish things. I put the same thing in my summery about how i felt about these things. You should only be punished for things that have a major offence and for the other things, you shouldn't.
Yea to be honest I do agree with this. Some laws are uncalled for, definitely. At the end of the day though, if they know it's a law they should know if they break it, there will be consequences for that action. That was my response to this.
1.Would you break a law if it was unjust?
2.Why do you think it would be okay to do so?
I agree with you all the way. Some laws are pointless.
I said that you break a law there should be a price to pay. But they should not do something that it to harsh for the law that was broken. If someone dose something small the punishment should be small to.
But why are there laws that are pointless why dont they get read of them
I think the time depends on the level of crime he or she has committed. It also could depend on the reason why they did the crime. For example people could be trying to save someone life or health. People also could've got pure pressured into it.
I agree with your statement because it can depend on why they did do the crime. It can also be peer pressure. It also depends on what level the crime is on because it could be serious. If it wasn't a big law and it like really doesn't matter then i dont they should get punished bad.
the price a person should pay .Avery body that breaks should have a type of punishment that he or she did
I really don't agree with your sentence because some laws aren't really helpful. Some laws really don't do anything it just depends on what crime they committed. I mean I think all people should get punished for what they did but if its really not an important law I don't think its necessary to have a bad punishment. If someone did something bad and broke an important law I think they should get punished for it in some type of way.
In the real world, some laws just aren't that serious and i feel as if people shouldn't get punished for things since they aren't major offences. People get punished for the most foolish things that aren't that serious and sometimes, they would get jail time for a certain amount of years while other people do major crimes and barely get any time. With that being said, it all depends on what you did exactly and how you did it. I don't think everyone should get jail time for some of the things they did if it wasn't serious.
I agree with you especially on the part of "People get punished for the most foolish things that aren't that serious and sometimes, they would get jail time for a certain amount of years while other people do major crimes and barely get any time." And I feel as if that's true and how people get killed everyday and some places of the world they just don't care. The so why would someone only get 5 months for murder but someone else gets 1 year for littering, it just doesn't make sense to me and makes me feel like the justice system is corrupt.
Depends on what that person have did to get in that situation. An what the police or who ever going do with it.That person can change people perspective on what they see in the world they are living in. It all depends on what you did exactly and how you did it. I don't think everyone should get jail time for some of the things they did if its a possibility.
If a perosn breaks an unjust law, the price they should be willing to pay is prison time, jail time, or high fines. Like i said on my last blog post, just because it's unjust doesn't mean you should break it. Breaking that unjust law doesn't mean it's gonna change the way the government is set up and the way they want their laws.
I don't think they should go to jail if they under 18. I think they should have a fine though. I think on mine that they shouldn't be charged with more than 500 if they just turned 18. I think I shouldn't have put 21 I should've put 20. why you think they should have high fines? why you think jail should be in the equation?
What ever the unjust law is depends on the punishment. It depends on who the ruler is. Also how important the unjust law is. If the person who inforces that law make it serious then there will be a harsh punishment.
I think people should pay the price for breaking a law, even if its an unjust law. We have laws for a reason, they keep order and our society running. I agree with breaking unjust laws but there has to be a price. That price would probably differ depending on the laws broken.
If you break a law there should be a price to pay. But they should not do something that it to harsh for the law that was broken. If someone dose something small the punishment should be small to.
I think that the price you pay depends on what unjust law you break. If its a big law that you shouldn't break then it is what it is. If the law hurts other people then you need to get punished but it all depends on the law and what has to do with it.
I think it depends on the law. Some laws in my opinion are stupid and should not be a law. I think if you kill someone or any other thing as bad or worse you should be punished.
I think the price of an unjust law should be treated the same as a minor offense and people who break these laws shouldnt be punished as hard as Creon was on Antigone.
I think if they break a law a person should atleast pay 1000. I think if you big and bad enough to break the law you should pay. I believe if you break the law without knowing you should pay 100. if he or she break the law more than once then they should pay 2000 because now they just disrespecting the law. if he or she under 18 I think they should have to do some community service. if they 18 or over they gotta pay because they legal. if they over 21 no exceptions they should pay 2000.
I really don't agree with your sentence because some laws aren't really helpful. Some laws really don't do anything it just depends on what crime they committed. I mean I think all people should get punished for what they did but if its really not an important law I don't think its necessary to have a bad punishment. If someone did something bad and broke an important law I think they should get punished for it in some type of way.If there are useless laws why don't they get read of them.
A person should be willing to take on a punishment weather its a small action taken or a big one. They should be responsible for example in the passage, "Things Fall Apart", Okonkwo did crime even though it was a accident he still knew it was wrong. He knows he and his family have to move away to Umofia for seven years he doesnt fight back when it comes to play. So no matter how take on that punishment . But only if its fair because if its not fair then they have he right to stand p and protest. That will be any kind of punishment that is taken. They should give in and serve what they did wrong so they ca learn from there mistakes.
the price a person should pay. If he or she breaks the law they should faced a type of punishment. I think some unjust laws should be treated as a minor. Some laws are not fair to some citizens in are society.
I disagree because not all laws are helpful. Some of the laws that arent helpful are the ones that make society have conflict. I honestly think that people who break the laws should get bad punishment. But to some people they think they need to because they need to know what they did was wrong.
I feel like the consequence depends on the level of the law that was broken. Moral is one of the biggest aspects that apply to all humans. Doing the right thing is important but if one cannot accept or is having trouble doing so then they should be willing to pay the price. For example In Antigone, Creon wasn't imprisoned but as his punishment he had to suffer eternal guilt from all the deaths he caused including his son's. Creon was punished but didn't serve jail time because he is the king.
i think that the person should take any punishment that they get. this is because if you want to show people what you believe in, you have to see it all the way through. this is to show an example for other people that believe the same thing.because if you dont face the consequences then nothing will change. and also people wont see it all the way through either. this will also show that you realy believe that the law is unjust and they might change their mind. so what ever the consequence is it doesnt matter.
